On the heels of Colorado’s first Michelin Guide, Denver’s culinary scene is on an unstoppable ascent. Molly Martin, the food and drink editor at Westword, recently looked at some of the most exciting restaurants that are opening in 2024:

Church & Union (1433 17th St, Union Station): Denver will mark the fourth location from Top Chef alum Jamie Lynch and chef Adam Hodgson, featuring a seasonal New American menu.

Blackbelly Market (4324 W 41st Ave, Berkeley): From another Top Chef alum, Hosea Rosenberg, comes this second Blackbelly Market location, taking over the Il Porcellino Salumi space off of Tennyson, offering cult-favorite breakfast burritos, a full lunch menu, and cured meats from butcher Kelly Kawachi.

C Bar / C Burger (921 Pearl Street, Boulder): From the team behind Brider, Oak at Fourteenth and Acorn, comes this Boulder-based burger restaurant and bar, featuring regenerative, organic, and local meats alongside cocktails from mixologist Diego Baud.

Osteria Alberico (3455 S University Blvd, Englewood): Frasca Hospitality Group sets its sights on the former Patxi’s location in Englewood, featuring a rebranded take on the original Pizzeria Locale.

Wonderyard Garden + Table (2200 Larimer St, Ballpark): Lotus Concepts, best known for My Neighbor Félix and ViewHouse, is opening a new indoor/outdoor concept. A Victorian-era, two-story building will house a whimsical restaurant with shareable plates such as paninis and flatbreads with large-format, Instagram-worthy cocktails.

Get ready to tantalize your taste buds as Denver’s landscape reaches new heights with these upcoming culinary gems.
