We are thrilled to announce that RE/MAX of Cherry Creek has been selected as a finalist for the 2021 Small Business Awards by the Denver Business Journal! This annual list recognizes the best small businesses in Denver, with the focus this year being on strength and resilience throughout the pandemic. As noted by DBJ, “These small businesses are not only devoted to their communities … but they’re inherently connected to their communities. They’re a part of something bigger.”
From Kristopher K Coe, Managing Broker/Co-Owner and Executive Director: “Ford Motor Company coined the slogan ‘Built Tough,’ and Apple is known for their motto, ‘Think Different.’ As a company enduring a historic pandemic and a year of social and political strife, I’d like to think that RE/MAX of Cherry Creek has boldly embodied the spirit behind those classic slogans. We’ve stayed tough and perfected the art of ‘thinking on our feet’ as a way to stay innovative and impactful during a trying 2020.”
“Being nominated for the DBJ Small Business Award is symbolic of our adaptive staff and forward-thinking leadership team,” he continues. “We’ve had to be at our sharpest and at our best when the odds have been stacked against us. For RE/MAX of Cherry Creek, we saw record closings record sales prices, and several of our agents finished in the “Top 100” in the nation in production. Beyond that, we gave back to our community in the form of charitable campaigns to CASA, Frontline Foods, Period Kits, Children’s Miracle Network, and Denver Rescue Mission (among many more). And to top it all off, we (finally!) bought our very own flagship office building at 100 Jackson Street after 40-years as a leading Denver real estate brokerage. So, when I see ads for ‘Built Tough‘ and ‘Think Different,’ I can’t help but think of how our small homegrown business and remarkable staff make me proud and ready to navigate the road ahead.”
Winners in the five size categories will be revealed at a May 13 virtual awards program.
