Good news, runners. Just because winter is on the way doesn’t mean you have to put your exercise habit on ice. In fact, there are many organized runs in the coming months that should warm your hearts—if not your extremities.

The RunDenver Series is offering a succession of 5K family-friendly events to celebrate the winter season. An entry fee buys you the camaraderie of your fellow racers—and extras like hot chocolate and photos. Mark your calendars for these races:

Rudolph Ramble 5K, City Park, Dec. 4: Participants receive a RunDenver Series hat; bells for the collars of any search dogs that run with them; Rudolph glasses for the kids; hot cocoa and snacks; photo with Santa and Rudolph; free Kids Fun Run.

Polar Bear 5K, Washington Park, Jan. 15: Participants receive a RunDenver Bammie (multi-use scarf); chance to take part in the Polar Bear Challenge (ice buckets and ice bath!); photo with Polar Bear mascot; hot cocoa and snacks; free Kids Fun Run.

SuperBowl 5K, Washington Park, Feb. 5: With registration, participants are automatically entered to win two 2017 preseason Broncos Tickets and can compete in the Craziest Fan Costume Contest. They also receive: athletic RunDenver gloves; photo with the Super Bowl 5K quarterback and cheerleader; free Kids Race with prizes.

Valentine’s Day 5K, Washington Park, Feb. 12: Participants can share their love story on the RunDenver Facebook page—the story with the most “likes” wins an upgraded suite at the Denver Radisson for Valentine’s Day with champagne and strawberries and breakfast in bed. Runners also receive RunDenver compression socks; photo with Cupid; chance to participate in a costume contest, “Spin the Bottle” game and “Kissing Booth”: free Kids Race with prizes.
