Enter Xcel Energy with a valuable new program: Homeowners are invited to request, free of charge, that an Xcel advisor visit their home and prepare an Energy Action Report based on their current energy use and what they would like to accomplish in terms of making the home more comfortable and energy efficient.

Once the homeowner has reviewed the report, advisors will provide suggestions of qualified contractors and other resources to help them make upgrades to the home, and will even review competing bids to discern the best service provider options. Finally, the advisor will also help homeowners apply for any rebates, credits or loans that are applicable.
