what to do in denver this weekend
It’s going to be a beautiful, sunny fall weekend, and we have some seasonal events to choose from! Check out our Weekly Happenings, and let us know what you get up to.

Saturday 10/18

Held outside at the 17 Mile House, the Fall Festival is taking place from 10AM-4PM and will have pumpkins for sale, hayrides, cow milking, a petting farm, gold panning, food trucks, bands…truly a day with something for everyone. Check out more details on their website.

Did you ever wish you could have your own version of the movie Night at the Museum? Well now you can right here in Denver. The Children’s Museum is hosting an overnight event for kids and their families in the Museum. With private playtime, a pizza dinner and a kid-friendly movie at night, followed by a morning pancake breakfast, this could be the best slumber party ever. Check out more details here.

Sunday 10/19

It’s Rock n’ Roll marathon time! While the full marathon is sold out (and probably a bit of a stretch if you haven’t been training), you can still sign up for the shorter races and join in on the festivities! Even as a spectator it will be a great event to attend. Check out the concerts, finish line festival, and cheer on those crazy people running the entire 26 mile distance. Want to see the schedule? Read more here.

If you’re wanting a more festive – and unique – race head to the Chatfield Botanic Gardens for the Great Pumpkin Haul. Yes, that’s right, participants will haul a personal pumpkin with them while on a 2 mile jaunt through the area. The pumpkin is yours to pick from their own pumpkin patch, and is included in the entry fee. So get your legs AND arms ready for this fun fall event! Read more information here.
