Think you’ll never be able to see the Beatles at Red Rocks? Think again! Well, sort of. The Beatles tribute band “1964” is playing a 50th Anniversary Concert on Friday night, and they are hailed as the most authentic Beatles band in the world so they are sure to play all your favorites. So while it may not be John, Paul, George and Ringo on stage, you can still enjoy a night of some of the best classic music in one of the most beautiful venues. The show begins at 8PM. Head over to Boulder for the inaugural Boulder Craft Beer Festival. With Boulder County’s best craft breweries offering tastings, plus live music and food, this festival is sure to draw many visitors. The event will run from 12-5PM on the west side of Central Park. View more information here.
After sampling all of that beer, head to the Boulder Bluegrass Festival at the Millennium Harvest House to hear some tunes. The gardens open at noon, and there will be food, drinks, lawn games, face painting, and of course…Bluegrass music! Visit their Facebook page for more information.
We’ve all been watching the progress of the bikers on the USA Pro Challenge as it heads through Colorado, and it all ends on Sunday here in Denver. The “Finish Festival” will take place from 11AM-5PM, starting with the Lifeblood 5K at Civic Center Park, which raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lifeblood5k.com).
