As it’s the last weekend before Christmas, there are a lot of things to take advantage of before the holiday is over! We have our picks below, but there are tons of festivities going on to choose from. Check out a comprehensive list of what’s happening at the Denver CVB’s website here.

Saturday 12/20

Tour the holiday lights of Denver on the Denver Holiday Lights Spectacular, hosted by Ebner Tours. From 5:30-9:30PM, they will cover all of the best light shows in the city, leaving Cap City Tavern (with a warm up drink) and heading to Larimer Square, Union Station, the Botanic Gardens and more enchanting spots. With transportation in a plush coach and warm drinks and treats to buy along the way, this is the perfect way to have an evening full of magical light viewing. Visit their website for more information and for tickets.

If you’re more into music than lights, head to the Boettcher Concert Hall for a spectacular performance by the Colorado Symphony. They’ll play holiday favorites with accompaniment from the Colorado Children’s Chorale, bringing the sounds of Christmas to your evening. Their last performances are this weekend (Saturday at 6PM and Sunday at 1PM) so don’t miss out! Tickets and more information are on their website here.

Sunday 12/21

Who doesn’t want to have brunch with Santa? Kids and adults will all love this morning celebration with Mr. Claus himself at Red Rocks Amphitheatre’s Ship Rock Grille. From 10:30AM-2:30PM you can dine on a delicious menu of everything from seafood gumbo to Fried Chicken and Waffles. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, and bring a toy donation for a free kid’s brunch. Make the reservations on their website here.

In the evening, head over to the Blossoms of Light at the Botanic Gardens. It’s a Denver favorite, and everyone loves these elegantly designed lights draped and arranged around all of the garden’s displays, and get a fun perspective on the lights with HoloSpex glasses! Warm drinks and food will be available, and the Choralary will be performing from 6-8PM this Sunday. It officially is open from 5:30-9PM, so bring the entire family and check out this stunning light display. View more information here on their website.
