Scout was owner surrendered to ACS in San Antonio and was a staff favorite because of her sweet demeanor!
Scout just finished up heartworm treatment. Scout loves a good walk as a new Colorado girl experiencing her very first winter! She loves a good treat and to have her face wrinkles played with. Scout is fearful of other dogs and is working on it but currently prefers to be an only dog.
“Hi there! I’m Scout! If you are looking for a dog that is adorable and is always by your side, I’m your dog! I’ll stick to you like velcro. If you work from home I’ll be your foot warmer sometimes and check on you to make sure you are still there. I’m very well mannered in the home. I do best in my kennel when you are away. I can have a lot of energy but I contain it to walks most of the time. I can be stubborn on walks but that is because I know the best way to go. I really really don’t like cats and raccoons, but who does? I have barked at other dogs but my foster is working at making it not happen anymore. You’ll have my heart faster than I eat my food. Some of my favorite things are food, treats, my kong, food scraps, walks, food, and more treats… I just really like food! If you are looking for a best friend, someone to help you get your steps in, clean up any scraps of food, or someone to blame farts on, I’m your dog!” – ❤️ Scout 🐾
