Likes: Snuggles on the couch, big hugs, and watching TV with our kids.

Dislikes:  Loud noises

Most happy when:  She is most happy when she’s sunning herself under her favorite tree in the backyard, or cuddled up on the couch with any of her humans.

What’s Scarlet’s favorite food? Scarlet is a huge fan of strawberries and peanut butter. She will also never turn down a “cookie” – ie dog treat.

How would you describe her personality? She is so easy going & almost human like. She likes to tell us when it’s dinner time with her loud barks!

What’s your favorite part about her? Her sweet heart. She came from a very abusive home, and when she realized she was safe with us, she has been nothing but loving and affectionate since.

What’s the naughtiest thing Scarlet has ever done? She likes to dig giant holes in the backyard.

What is her favorite spot in your home?  We joke that 1/3 of the couch is hers – it’s where you can find her most hours of the day.

What’s the best memory you have with Scarlet? We love to see her play with other dogs. She was so timid and scared of other dogs when we got her, but now she will wrestle & play. She especially loves playing with our neighbors’ tiny French Bulldog.

What is your go-to neighborhood for walks? She is moving pretty slow these days, so we stick to our neighborhood of South Hilltop. She makes it about two blocks before she’s ready to head home. But those two blocks usually take us about 30 minutes so she can get in all the smells!
