In honor of Colorado day today on August 1st, we’ve polled our expert RMCC brokers and staff asking, “where is your favorite place to go in Colorado, and what is your favorite thing to do there?” We’ve compiled the answers below to inspire your next weekend activity next time you’re looking for something to do.
Kate Baldwin-Wenzel – Vail in the summertime. I love to stroll around the farmer’s market and hike. The flowers up there are gorgeous in the summer!
Shelley Bridge – The hot springs.
David Bromberg – Going up to Boulder to hike and check out the mall.
Alex Brachfeld – Skyland (City Park North), Plimoth (restaurant), Ephemeral Taproom, Sweet Sweetz Ice Cream.
Jamee Day – Pearl Street Mall in Boulder – great shops, food, and people watching!
Kristina Davis – Estes Park atop a mountain to meditate, then shop in Estes.
Jennifer Hudson – Steamboat: Skiing, camping, summer concerts, mountain biking!
Randy Kehler – The Southwest corner – Telluride for food, music, & skiing. Ouray, Durango, and Mesa Verde can be thrown in there too.
Coupar Lester – Vail Valley – Snowboarding, golf, hiking, and Red Lion for après ski.
Gabryela Newtown-Bustamante – Red Rocks! I love to buy concert tickets for shows there and make a whole day out of it. Hiking nearby (Lair O’ the Bear) and food/beer in Historic Morrison!
Kristina Samuelson – Don’t get me wrong, I love the mountains – but the place where I spend most of my time is right here in Cherry Creek! I’ve never had a bad meal and the shopping is amazing.
Russell West – Buena Vista – love to hang out in the Arkansas River.
