RE/MAX lends helping hand to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Here at RE/MAX of Cherry Creek, we have been blessed to work in a wonderful community, filled with vibrant and caring people. It has been our great privilege to give back to this community by uniting to support a worthy project: the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals — Children’s Hospital Colorado.

For every home that closes with a RE/MAX of Cherry Creek broker, each agent donates a specified amount to Children’s Miracle Network, and in 2014 our office donated a total of $32,085. We are thrilled to note that 100% of our agents participate in this wonderful giving program, and we were recently notified that we are the highest-giving individual office in the Denver area. In 2014, we also participated in their Adopt A Family program during the holidays where our office bought gifts and items of need for the family of a child being treated at the hospital.

This participation makes us extremely proud. But beyond patting ourselves on the back, we want to let you know about this commendable cause that saves children’s lives and helps families weather hard times.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across the country. All donations stay in the community where the funds originate, so givers know that their money is helping children in their community.

Since 1983, the Network has raised more than $4 billion. Donations help children who suffer traumatic injury, such as Ashlyn, 9, who incurred a brain and eye injury after a sledding accident. They also help children like Karen, 10, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The treatment required her to be away from her home for over a year; donations to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals allowed her to stay at a hospitality home while she underwent treatment.

As we all know, health care is expensive, and in many of these situations, families don’t have the ability pay. Donations go where they are needed most: to the care of individuals and to support research, training and equipment purchases.

We invite you to join us in supporting this laudable cause. Learn more about volunteering and donating by visiting their website, and follow our blog to stay up to the date with our office fundraising events!
