I got into real estate in 2001 because I love houses—love looking at them, love understanding how the various systems work, love thinking about how to improve them. The experience of owning and remodeling my first home was so rewarding both financially and emotionally that I wanted to help other people have that same experience, and I knew that I had some unique qualifications that I could bring to the table.

Before I got into real estate, I spent 11 years working for the University of Colorado at Denver facilitating community-based problem-solving & strategic planning efforts all over the Denver metro area and the state of Colorado. I got to know our communities intimately as I helped people come together to address issues of shared concern and create both a vision and a concrete plan for a better future, constantly honing my negotiation, mediation and facilitative skills in tough, high pressure situations. I find that I use those skills daily in my real estate business, as well as drawing on my extensive and intimate knowledge of our metro area communities.

As a buyer, I help you clarify your vision of what you are looking for in your new home and then find that home in the most efficient manner possible. Then I negotiate the best deal possible and advocate for your interests while making sure that the myriad of details inherent in any real estate transaction are taken care of painlessly.

As a seller, I help you understand the current state of your local market and price your home accordingly so that it will sell as quickly as possible. I also consult with you regarding what needs to be done to get your home market ready and connect you with the resources you need to get the work done.
