As Denver grows in sophistication, so do its living options and its residents’ taste for the high life. To appeal to this desire, many exciting luxury development projects are afoot, offering amenities that range from pampering spas to juice bars to impressive art collections.

Here’s a look at three projects gaining much buzz:

The Coloradan: After nearly 10 years without a new condo development downtown, The Coloradan is sparking great excitement. When completed, the 19-story building will be linked to Union Station via a bridge and offer 334 condo units, ranging in price from $225,000 to $3 million. Amenities will include a club lounge and pool deck on the 18th floor, a 5th floor community garden, a fitness center, an owners’ lobby and library and a curated art collection throughout the building. Residents will enjoy stunning views, and parking will be monitored by a state-of-the-art system that allows spaces to be allocated based on current need, rather than static assigned spots.
What’s more, residents will find a 56,000-square-foot Whole Foods just across the street, not to mention the many retail and restaurant offerings in the neighborhood. As one of the partners of the project notes: “At the Coloradan, the city of Denver will really be the primary amenity as residents will literally be in the heart of everything when they step out the front door.”

Lakehouse: Located on the south shore of Sloan’s Lake, this development is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019. It will feature 206 penthouses, condos, and rowhomes in a 12-story building. Amenities abound, including gated security, a concierge, heated parking garage, community kitchen and dining room, lounge, and media den, as well as a host of fitness offerings. Residents will find a health and wellness center with a juice bar, fitness lab, sauna, and yoga studio. A terrace with a pool will overlook the lake. Perhaps most exciting, the project will feature a rooftop garden; residents can buy shares in the garden and pick their own fresh produce.

Steele Creek: This new luxury apartment complex is located at 3222 E. 1st Avenue. It houses 218 units and is designed to operate “like a 5-star hotel,” according to company promotional materials, and features a 24-hour concierge and valet services (six days a week). Residents will also find a 24-hour fitness center, rooftop pool, fully-outfitted resident lounge, and pet-friendly amenities. Best of all, they can enjoy easy access to all the offerings of Cherry Creek Shopping Center, just blocks away, and Cherry Creek North’s many restaurants and boutiques.
