One of Denver’s more prestigious neighborhoods, Hilltop enjoys a central location, well-kept streets, and large single-family homes. Development started in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, and the neighborhood includes English Tudors, modern new-builds, 50’s ranch style homes, and custom homes. Cranmer Mansion, an aristocratic architectural masterpiece, sits atop Cranmer Park, Hilltop’s highest point. George Cranmer, the original owner of the mansion and credited for developing many local parks – including Red Rocks and Winter Park – developed Hilltop’s Mountain View Park and what became known as Cranmer Park. It has magnificent views of the Front Range, and you can find the names of the visible peaks engraved on the terrace. With several neighborhood schools and convenient access to downtown and the Cherry Creek shopping district, Hilltop remains a favored choice for Denver residents.
