Rebuilding Together works in partnership with the community to revitalize neighborhoods by providing home repair and renovation services free of charge to those in need, such as providing better accessibility for people with disabilities. These projects include replacing insulation and water heaters, installing new doors,, windows and furnace tune-ups, as well as providing caulking and foam gaskets on the electrical outlets and weather stripping throughout the homes. “Through the support of corporate sponsors, local businesses and the hands-on work of more than 200,000 volunteers led by more than 200 affiliates, Rebuilding Together nationally renovates and repairs nearly 10,000 homes and nonprofit facilities annually,” said Nagel. “It is a very worthy organization and one I am proud to support. Rebuilding Together Metro Denver has repaired or rehabilitated more than 1,200 homes in our community, helping nearly 2,500 people enjoy healthier, safer homes. This work was done primarily by volunteers, and I encourage others in the metro Denver community to get involved.” Nagel is a co-leader of the Sullivan Nagel Group at RE/MAX of Cherry Creek.
