Andrew Nagel of RE/MAX of Cherry Creek Helps Rebuilding Together Metro Denver Create Safer, Healthier Homes for Low Income Homeowners DENVER – Andrew Nagel, a leading Broker Associate and co-owner of RE/MAX of Cherry Creek in Denver, is assisting Rebuilding Together Metro Denver with the creation of safer, healthier homes for low income homeowners. Rebuilding Together works in partnership with the community to revitalize neighborhoods by providing home repair and renovation services free of charge to those in need, such as providing better accessibility for people with disabilities. Nagel most recently helped with a “Rebuilding Day” project for a couple in Lakewood and will soon be assisting with another project in the Denver area. Rebuilding Together recently joined forces with Lowe’s to help low-income families stay warm during the holiday season. Volunteers from the home improvement retailer and Rebuilding Together Metro Denver will weatherproof homes and make extensive repairs for five homeowners in the Park Hill neighborhood in north Denver. These projects include replacing insulation and water heaters, installing new doors,, windows and furnace tune-ups, as well as providing caulking and foam gaskets on the electrical outlets and weather stripping throughout the homes. “Through the support of corporate sponsors, local businesses and the hands-on work of more than 200,000 volunteers led by more than 200 affiliates, Rebuilding Together nationally renovates and repairs nearly 10,000 homes and nonprofit facilities annually,” said Nagel. “It is a very worthy organization and one I am proud to support. Rebuilding Together Metro Denver has repaired or rehabilitated more than 1,200 homes in our community, helping nearly 2,500 people enjoy healthier, safer homes. This work was done primarily by volunteers, and I encourage others in the metro Denver community to get involved.” Nagel is a co-leader of the Sullivan Nagel Group at RE/MAX of Cherry Creek.
