Amy Weisenberger
Amy started her real estate career in December of 2016 and is now a proud Broker/Co-Owner at RE/MAX of Cherry Creek. Prior to taking her passionate plunge into real estate, she taught elementary school for 18 years. Her experience as a teacher helped mold her approach to providing a nourishing touch to helping clients with their real estate needs. Giving clients insightful, thorough information to be able to make informed decisions, while demonstrating patience and kindness through each stage of the transaction is something being an educator taught her. Buying or selling real estate can be one of the most important decisions people make in their lives and Amy is committed to making the experience successful, fulfilling and enjoyable!
Amy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a minor in Psychology from North Carolina State University and holds a Master’s degree in Education from Queen’s University (Charlotte, NC). She is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) and Denver Metro Area of Realtors (DMAR), and holds the Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES) designation. This designation demonstrates the necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions in relocating, refinancing, or selling a family home.
Amy is committed to being active in her community and is a member of Platt Park’s People Association (3PA) which seeks to build positive relationships with government agencies, businesses and groups that have interests in the Platt Park neighborhood where she and her husband Craig make their home. She is also a member of the East Evans Business Association (EEBA), an active community of business professionals who share a passion for creating a thriving business climate to recruit, retain, and grow local businesses.
In addition to being active in the community, one of Amy’s true passions is also giving back. She volunteers her time with the Denver Public School System as a tutor with Innovations of Learning/TutorMate, the nation’s preeminent online volunteer tutoring program, helping thousands of at-risk first grade students learn to read. Additionally she is a proud donor to the charities of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Dumb Friends League of Denver.
While currently living in Platt Park, Amy has lived throughout Denver and has extensive knowledge of the residential housing market, neighborhoods and schools in the Metro-Denver area.
When not working with clients or volunteering her time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, photography, trying new restaurants and enjoying fine wines!
