Cheryl Zgonena Joins RE/MAX of Cherry Creek as
Broker Associate

DENVER – Cheryl Zgonena has joined RE/MAX of Cherry Creek as a broker associate. Zgonena is a member of the Denver Board of Realtors and now serves the diverse real estate needs of clients throughout the greater Denver area.

Zgonena earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from DePaul University in Chicago. Her professional background includes working as a media negotiator and marketing specialist for several national advertising agencies and independent marketing firms. With an interest in the “path of well-being” and desire to work independently, she pursued a career in medical massage therapy, working with physical therapists, chiropractic clinics and running her own private practice prior to pursuing a career in real estate.

An accomplished athlete and outdoors enthusiast, Zgonena placed in the top 10 at the 2007 NPC Mile High Figure Championships and has successfully completed four Danskin Triathlons. She has served as a volunteer and massage therapist for the Danskin Triathlon Series and the Rocky Mountain Sports Massage Team. Zgonena enjoys adventure sports, backpacking, snowboarding, and off-road motorcycling. Other interests include cooking, museums, art galleries and painting.

Zgonena is active with the Raymond Wentz Foundation and Willa’s Wheels where she oversaw the production of a website video for community awareness and marketing materials for fundraising endeavors. The Wentz Foundation assists individuals and families experiencing emotional, physical and financial crisis due to a cancer diagnosis which creates additional burdens that are difficult to meet.
