Katy has been the teams Transaction Coordinator and Customer Service Specialist since 2004 and worked prior to that on staff at RE/MAX Cherry Creek. She practically grew up in this office-her mother is a real estate agent-and finds that Real Estate really is in her blood. When not in the office, Katy is running after her daughter or busy baking up a special batch of KatyBakes cupcakes.
Katy is available for our clients weekdays from 8:30-5:00 to answer any and all questions or address concerns and she provides a source of contact when the other team members are unavailable. Katy is responsible for tracking all of the dates, deadlines, details involved in a real estate transaction. At inspection time, Katy will gather bids from reputable contractors and coordinates their completion prior to closing, if required. Sellers in Active MLS status will receive weekly updates on showings and feedback from Katy while Under Contract Sellers and Buyers will receive a weekly update that includes an updated calendar marking progress as closing approaches. Katy is responsible for scheduling the time and place of closing. She thoroughly prepares clients for closing by making sure they have their figures on time and any other items they may need for a successful closing.
